To say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021 I returned to my happy place, walking out to a crisp and cold Hilbre Island. I decided to follow the tide out from West Kirby and took the opportunity to photograph a flock of birds resting on the sand. The flock was huge and i was able to get pretty close without disturbing them.
I was also pleased to get a great couple of shots as they took off following the retreating tide.
