South Stack Lighthouse

Before we all went into lockdowns I had already taken a couple of trips into Wales that I’ve yet to share my pictures of. The first is an evening trip to Southstack on the Isle of Anglesey. The lighthouse sits on an outcrop of rock sticking out into the Irish Sea on the North West Coast of Anglesey in North Wales. It’s a beautiful little island with a steep winding path that leads down to a bridge across to South Stack itself. The Lighthouse has been closed during the pandemic but it doesn’t stop you enjoying the landscape nearby.

I loved that this made me take a walk away from the lighthouse itself and explore the landscape nearby. I found a great spot to the east looking down at the lighthouse that really draws the eye in.

I’ve still got a few other shots from my last couple of trips into wales to show you so keep watching my blog over the next month.

If you would like to purchase prints of any of these shots please check out my print store and my canvas print store on photo4me they are a great gift for Christmas.
