Over the past few days we’ve had some incredibly dramatic skies, from cool crisp skies over liverpool at dawn to fiery red Wirral sunsets.
The Wirral coastline never ceases to amaze me with its drama and splendour and this week I’ve been able to capture some truly amazing views in the place that I love, what could be better?
I started the day before dawn, heading to Leasowe Ferry to try to capture dawn over Liverpool. Though I got some loverly the silver flowing River Mersey shots showing off the Liverpool Skyline the sky was cloudy and lacked the drama that a clear dawn brings.
I got to see mother nature at her best however with a beautiful red Wirral sunset over Hilbre Island from West Kirby. I started off the evening in Caldy looking across the river at the boats moored in the sands of Caldy shore. Then after the sun set I moved down to West Kirby Marine Lake to capture the incredible bright pink sky silhouetting Hilbre Island.
As always, my shots are available to purchase as prints in a wide range of sizes so if you’re interested in finding out more and possibly purchasing a print please click here for details.
