Sunset at South Stack gratuity based workshop
This September join me for 4 new workshops in Eryri & Anglesey as we explore my favorite spots across the weekend of the 28th/29th September. Whether you join us for all 4 or just one, I’m sure you will be able to grab some incredible photos.
The first of my four-part workshops, this session will explore one of the most beautiful locations on Anglesey, South Stack lighthouse. We’ll meet at the clifftop carkpark and make our way to Ellin’s Tower, a bright white Victorian building that looks a little like a castle with views across to the lighthouse. We’ll then make our way down the winding stairway looking for compositions of the setting sun across the Irish sea.
During this three-hour workshop we’ll cover how to capture this beautiful location, compositional tips and tricks and the settings you need to capture in low light. Though all my workshops are suitable for all experience levels this workshop will work best for those with a basic understanding of their camera and will need tripods as we are shooting in low light.
Our next stop will be Sunrise at the Lone Tree in Llanberis the next morning followed by Dinorwig Quarry to photograph the Anglesey Barracks around lunchtime, then finishing the weekend at Ynys Llanddwyn though to Sunset if all are happy to stay late.
What is a Gratuity-Based Workshop?
As with all of my workshops over this weekend there is no upfront fee required, I just ask that you consider paying whatever you feel the workshop is worth to you at the end of the session/weekend in the form of a gratuity or tip.
This enables me to ensure everyone who attends gets value for money, from complete beginners to more advanced participants looking for a location guide. It also means if money is tight but you want to take part and learn a new skill that money isn’t a barrier, something that I very much believe it shouldn’t be.
For this workshop, the suggested gratuity is between £30-£40, but any payment will be greatly appreciated. If you prefer to pay upfront I have also added an option for this below.
Please note there is a £6 car parking fee at this location.
