FREE* Summer Solstice on Hilbre Island

Come and celebrate the end of the longest day of the year as we watch the sunset for the Summer Solstice on Hilbre Island, bring a drink and a bite to eat and celebrate with friends and beautiful photography.

This is my favourite walk on the Wirral, my most popular, and one that never ever fails to deliver. We start a little earlier than normal to give us as much time as possible out at Hilbre. Beginning at the sailing school we walk  out across the sands to Little Eye. After grabbing a few shots we’ll walk across the rocky shore to Middle Eye to take golden hour shots of Hilbre Island before making our way to the old Lifeboat Station to sit and watch the sun disappear just before 10pm on the longest day of the year.

This is my most popular route and being an extra special evening is bound to book up quickly.

Total length of the walk is approximately 4.5miles.

*Free Neon Light Photowalks are offered for no upfront fee, all I ask is that participants consider giving whatever they feel the walk was worth to them at the end of the walk with no expectation. I’ll never pressure you to tip; I believe that, if money is given, it should be voluntary and in direct proportion to the quality of the walk and the budget of those attending. It’s a kind of satisfaction guarantee, if you don’t enjoy the walk, just walk away, no questions asked.
