Description
A famous landmark and symbol of Hoylake on the Wirral is the old Lighthouse that stands some way inshore. It’s almost impossible to get a shot of the lighthouse without something in the way so I decided to embrace this including a fence and trees in the foreground.
I love the light reflecting off the glass and the birds perched on top as if awaiting the sunset themselves.
The shot was taken just before sunset in October 2020.
