Description

Now there is a story with this shot, the things you go through to get a shot…
I had spotted the moon was sitting just over the Liver buildings as I was scouting out my Liverpool at Night Photowalk, I crossed over the strand to see if I could find the right location to line the Liver Bird and moon up and found just the right spot.
I thought about trying a low shot set up my tripod but the angle wasn’t right, so up I stood went to adjust my tripod and…. trapped my finger in the leg joint.
To say that it hurt was an understatement, but the shot came out exactly as I had hoped for so all things considered, it was worth it.
