Wildflowers at Thornton Manor

This week I have taken advantage of the first relaxations of Lockdown with a walk around Thornton Manor gardens. It’s great that open spaces like this are now open to walk around again and just in time for the spring flowers that are popping up everywhere.

Although the formal gardens are not particularly dramatic, the driveway down the far side of the manor looks incredible with blankets of blue, white and yellow wildflowers. It’s well worth the small admission fee just to see the wildflowers though they wont last for much longer.

I hope you like the pictures and are, like me, enjoying the slow re-opening and the ability to get out a little further afield.

Who else knew about these beautiful wild flowers at Thornton Manor?
