Dark Clouds, Beautiful Skies

August has been a busy month so far, with more photowalks, extreme weather and an abundance of beautiful skies. I have been so busy the last few months I have neglected to show you my most recent work.

I’ll start at my most recent photowalk across Hoylake beach this week. I’m often asked “what is there to photography on a huge flat featureless beach?” well these shots show you just a fraction of the subjects and scenes you can shoot if you’re in the right place at the right time.

The day had been wet and rainy, but with a weather forecast predicting clear skies we set off into one of the most incredible colour-filled evenings of the year, and to top the night off we even got to say hello to a passing seal.
