One of my favourite things is to head out to Hilbre Island and stay over at high tide. It’s beautiful to see how the Island changes as the tide comes in.
This week the weather and tide times matched up so I headed out. Always remember to check the tide times before you go; the sea will cut you off if you’re not careful.
It was also nice to see the Hoylake RNLI Lifeguards out keeping everyone safe and I got a great couple of shots of their jetski at high tide.
It’s also fun spotting the seals bobbing in the sea round Hilbre Island, though catching them on camera is harder, especially as they blend in with waves.
