If you’ve ever driven down the lanes from West Kirby to Saughall Massie you might have spotted the memorial to RAF West Kirby that used to be situated just off the road.
The site itself is now a small woodland with a criss-cross grid of roadways all now being taken over by nature.
It’s a strange place to walk but very pleasant when the sun is beaming through the trees.
I spotted an old gate down the lane and was lining up a nice shot of the sunlight when a man walked into shot, perfectly adding interest. Sometimes photography is just luck and timing!
