Description
Taken on Crosby Beach, “Another Place” is a portrait of one of Antony Gormley’s famous cast-iron figures, part of his world-renowned installation of 100 statues facing the horizon. Modelled after the artist himself, each figure stands steadfast against the tides, a silent witness to the shifting light and sea.
This composition captures a single statue in profile, with the Wirral coastline stretching out in the background and the iron face gazing resolutely towards the waves. Shot earlier in the evening than my companion image “Another Time, Another Place”, it offers a more intimate view of Gormley’s sculpture, balancing strength and solitude in one frame.
Printed on demand using C-Type Fuji Matt or Fuji Gloss paper, these prints are available in four sizes. Each is supplied un-mounted with a 10mm white border, ready for you to mount and frame at home. Professionally produced to gallery quality, this is a striking piece of Liverpool coastal art that pairs beautifully with “Another Time, Another Place”.
(Final prints do not feature watermarks)
