Photo Walk Terms and Conditions

To ensure participant safety, all participants must be over the age of 18 on the day of the walk to take part.

By booking a place and/or paying the relevant deposit, participants confirm that they are fit and healthy enough to complete their booked route. Please see the route details on the event page and confirm you can complete the route before booking.

Although I will be leading the route we walk, you are responsible for your own safety and equipment for the duration of the walk. I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of equipment or injury to participants.

To ensure safety, if adverse weather conditions are forecast the walk/workshop may need to be cancelled or rescheduled to an alternative date/time. Along with checking weather conditions before the day, we will also review conditions throughout the day and may decide to change our route if the weather requires it. Some routes are not safe in some conditions, so I cannot guarantee to visit any requested location.

Paid Photography Workshops and Walks

Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the relevant deposit. For workshops priced £45 and over, as well as 1 hour 1:1 workshops, the deposit will be £10per person. For 1:1 workshops 2 hours and over, a deposit equal to 1 hours workshop, currently, £35 is required to secure your date. Places will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis up to the maximum listed on the event listings page. In all cases, the remaining fee is due 7 days before the workshop. For workshops priced £45 and under, payment in full is required on booking, £10 of which is a non-refundable deposit.

Group workshops will only take place if at least 2 people book. This will be confirmed 7 days before, and before you are asked to pay the final fee.

Cancellations
In the unlikely event that the organiser cancelled the walk/workshop, an alternative date will be offered. Customers may request a full refund of any money paid in such instances if they are unable to attend the new date.

Payment in full is required 7 days before workshops and no refund will be offered for attendees who withdraw within 7 days of the walk. Customers who withdraw/cancel 8 or more days before the walk is due to take place may request a refund of any money paid less the non-refundable deposit. Alternatively, customers may also request that a booking be transferred to an alternative future date if available.

Free Photography Walks

Neon Light Free Photography walks are offered for no upfront fee. I hope that you enjoy the walk and get value from the experience. I, therefore, ask all participants to consider paying me a gratuity at the end of the walk. Gratuity payments are completely voluntary.

As last-minute cancellations are difficult to fill with new participants, I ask all those who cancel a free walk to consider paying a voluntary cancellation charge of £5. Again this is also completely voluntary.

Walks will only take place if a minimum of 3 people are booked to attend. Neon Light Photography will confirm to bookers, by email, that their booked walk is taking place 24 hours before the walk. Walks may be cancelled anything up to 5 hours before the event if the weather is not suitable to run the walk or if cancellations by bookers mean that the minimum number is no longer viable, again this will be communicated by email to all bookers.

COVID19

As a responsible business, we confirm that our guides have not tested positive for, or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID19 at the time of the walk, and will cancel such walks if this changes.

If a local or national travel ban is in place during the date of the workshop, an alternative date will be arranged, please ensure you are aware of the current restrictions in both your own location and the location of the walk.

By attending a walk/workshop you confirm you have not tested positive for COVID19 within the previous 10 days. You should not attend any of my walks/workshops if you have tested positive or are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID19 or if you have been asked to isolate by NHS Test and Trace. If a participant cannot take part due to a requirement to isolate, either by testing positive for COVID19 or because of a request by Test & Trace, the booking for that participant may be transferred to an alternate date in the future or a refund may be requested.
