Spring Blossom Photography Walk – Wavertree Botanic Gardens, Liverpool
Each spring, a small, hidden pocket of Liverpool comes alive in a burst of colour that most people walk straight past. Tucked behind the old Littlewoods Building lies the forgotten Wavertree Botanic Gardens – and at its heart is a beautiful line of blossom trees that transform into a soft pink canopy for just a few short weeks each year.
This brand-new photography walk for 2026 invites you to slow down, breathe in the colours of spring, and learn how to capture the blossoms at their very best. We’ll explore composition techniques, challenging lighting conditions, how to create soft, dreamy foregrounds, and how to make the most of the delicate tones that blossom season brings.
This walk is suitable for all skill levels, whether you’re using a camera phone, compact camera, DSLR or mirrorless. As always, it’s completely free to attend (gratuity-based), relaxed in pace, and full of friendly guidance.
