Liverpool River of Light 2023 Photo Workshops
This is a tips-based photography workshop around the lights of the River of Light festival, the generosity of attendees is greatly appreciated and helps me to offer these workshops for no upfront fee.
The Liverpool River of Light trail returns for a shortened 7 days this year from the 27th October – 5th November. Once again, I’ll be running *gratuity based photography workshops along the route to help you all get the best possible photographs of this year’s displays.
This year’s event is only 1 week long so I’ll be running walks almost every night during the event, please only book if you intend on attending the workshop as this event is very popular and I don’t want anyone to miss out.
Workshops will run whatever the weather so if it’s raining, bring your umbrellas. Some light displays may be weather dependant, I cannot guarantee all displays will be available every night.
As the opening weekend of 27th/28th/29th October is half term these three nights are likely to be very busy around the route so please bear this in mind. Groups are limited to 12 attendees, if fully booked please email me to be placed on the waiting list as I often get last-minute cancellations.
Suitable for all skill levels and cameras, including phone cameras. For those with them, tripods are advisable for this workshop.
(Bookings are limited to 3 people per booking to help reduce the risk of no-shows, for group bookings of 4 or more people an upfront £15pp is required.)
*Free Neon Light Photography Workshops are offered for no upfront fee, all I ask is that participants consider giving whatever they feel the workshop was worth to them at the end of the route. I’ll never pressure you to tip; I believe that, if money is given, it should be voluntary and in direct proportion to the quality of the workshop and the budget of those attending. It’s a kind of satisfaction guarantee, if you don’t enjoy the workshop, just walk away, no questions asked.
