Beginner Photography Workshop – Liverpool
If you’re new to photography and want to take your first steps towards creating amazing images, join me for this beginner-friendly photography workshop along Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront.
Over the course of three hours, we’ll explore from the Royal Liver Building to the Albert Dock, discovering how to move beyond automatic settings and start taking full creative control of your camera. You’ll also learn how to see the city in a new light, capturing unique photographs of some of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings.
Here’s what we’ll cover together:
-
The Exposure Triangle – understanding aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and why they matter.
-
Camera Functions – how to use your DSLR, mirrorless or even a compact camera more effectively, moving from automatic into semi-automatic or manual modes.
-
Composition Skills – including the “rule of thirds”, “leading lines” and “golden ratio”, plus how to frame shots and decide what to include (or leave out).
-
Creative Approaches – techniques for producing unique images of world-famous landmarks.
Workshops are kept deliberately small to ensure 1-on-1 tuition for every participant, giving you the confidence to put new skills into practice on the spot.
💷 Price: £55 per person (payable upfront). This includes three hours of hands-on tuition, practical exercises, and guidance tailored to your skill level.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply want to get more from your camera, this relaxed, hands-on workshop is the perfect introduction to photography.
