Description

Whilst out walking along Hoylake beach on Friday night I spotted the Hoylake Lifeboat returning from a shout. The Shannon Class Lifeboat, the Edmund Hawthorn Micklewood, had been out rescuing a yacht with two people on board that had suffered mechanical failure. Glad to hear everyone was returned to shore safely.
We’re so lucky to have this incredible volunteer service in the UK, out risking their lives all year round to keep us all safe on the seas and along our beautiful coastline.
