Description

4.5 miles of walking across wet tidal sands, a race against the incoming tide and beautiful views across to Hilbre.

I have been waiting to head across to Hilbre during some unsettled skies for quite a time and this day everything just worked.

The result is my new favourite shot of Hilbre Island, taken at high tide from Middle eye.
