Photographs of Hilbre Island

One of the locations I am most known for is my regular photowalks and photo workshops at Hilbre Island. I love crossing the sands from West Kirby to explore Hilbre, from the wide open sandy beach to the little shell covered coves. Below you will find a selection of my favourite shot’s I’ve taken out on this beautiful little island that sits at the mouth of the River Dee. All are available as prints in my printshop.

This is my new favourite shot of Hilbre Island, taken at high tide from Middle eye.

A lone figure stands on the clifftops of Hilbre Island looking out to the setting sun.
