FREE Sunrise @ New Brighton Photo Walk
My popular Free* photo walks return for autumn-winter with a collection of different styles and locations for you to choose from. With nighttime cityscapes, sunsets, sunrises and winter woodlands, there’s plenty to explore and even more to photograph.
I knew when I started my photo walks just how important getting out and about in our environment is, and it’s even more important during the winter as the days shorten and the weather turns. Getting out and about, walking and breathing fresh air is so good for your physical and mental health so why not join me for a photo walk in and around the Wirral.
Each walk lasts approximately 2 hours and covers about 2-3 miles. Routes are suitable for beginners and experienced photographers alike as it’s more about the walk first and foremost. As with all my walks I’ll give out photography tips and tricks along the way, show you some interesting locations and hopefully pass on some knowledge too.
On this walk, we’ll start at the New Brighton Lighthouse as the sun rises over the River Mersey, then we’ll go for a walk around the town taking in as many of the murals that now adorn the houses, looking for interesting street photography compositions along the way.
So whether it’s your first time picking up a camera or you know every setting in detail we’ll find great shots together as we around this beautiful old woodland.
*Free Neon Light Photowalks are offered for no upfront fee, all I ask is that participants consider giving whatever they feel the walk was worth to them at the end of the walk with no expectation. I’ll never pressure you to tip; I believe that, if money is given, it should be voluntary and in direct proportion to the quality of the walk and the budget of those attending. It’s a kind of satisfaction guarantee, if you don’t enjoy the walk, just walk away, no questions asked.
