FREE Red Squirrels @ Formby Photo Walk

On this walk, we’ll go looking for the elusive red squirrels that nest in the woodlands around Formby point. We’ll then walk along the sand dunes and beach looking for interesting compositions.

I knew when I started my photography walks just how important it is to get out and about, and it’s even more important during the cold winter days. Getting out and about, walking and breathing fresh air is so good for your physical and mental health so why not join me for a photo walk in and around the Wirral.

Each walk / workshop lasts approximately 2 hours and covers about 2-3 miles. Routes are suitable for beginners and experienced photographers alike as it’s more about the walk first and foremost. As with all my walks I’ll give out photography tips and tricks along the way, show you some interesting locations and hopefully pass on some knowledge too.

So whether it’s your first time picking up a camera or you know every setting in detail we’ll find great shots together as we around this beautiful old woodland.

*Free Neon Light Photowalks are offered for no upfront fee, all I ask is that participants consider giving whatever they feel the walk was worth to them at the end of the walk with no expectation. I’ll never pressure you to tip; I believe that, if money is given, it should be voluntary and in direct proportion to the quality of the walk and the budget of those attending. It’s a kind of satisfaction guarantee, if you don’t enjoy the walk, just walk away, no questions asked.
